The César Egido Serrano Foundation VIII International Microfiction Contest,

 Full details

The César Egido Serrano Foundation is honored to announce the launch of the VIII International Microfiction Contest, once again inviting participants from around the world to share their talent and creativity, with the written word as a bridge for understanding between cultures.

Over the past editions, the contest has become an unprecedented literary event, breaking participation records and establishing itself as a meeting point for thousands of authors across all continents. With this new edition, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting the word as a tool for dialogue, reflection, and peaceful coexistence.

The submission period is now officially open, and all those who wish to participate may do so in any of the available languages. As in previous editions, the evaluation process will involve both the contestants themselves and a panel of expert judges, who will determine the winning story and the corresponding honorable mentions.

We warmly encourage both seasoned writers and first-time participants to take part in this new edition. Beyond the prizes, every submitted story adds a voice to our shared belief that words are the universal vehicle for understanding and peace.

Welcome to the VIII International Microfiction Contest!
