Room at the Inn? Bridge House Publishing's call for the annual anthology

 Full details

Bridge House Annual Anthology

Open 6 December 2025 to 28 February 2026

The theme for the 2026  is  'Room at the Inn?'

We are seeking stories between 1000 and 5000 words on the subject of  'Room at the Inn?'. This could be a retelling of the nativity story, an alternative telling maybe from the point of view of someone who worked at the inn? There is also scope for so much more. Think  of  the current migration problem.  Think of those living on the streets. What is the inn exactly? How can we make room for everyone?  Is this really a theme about inclusion?

New writers, established writers and writers we've included in other anthologies are all equally welcome.
