Peckham Fringe

 Full details

Peckham Fringe is a performing arts festival which takes place at Theatre Peckham during Spring 2023.

It will run from Monday 1 May – Sunday 4 June. Everyone is welcome to apply.

Productions may be new writing, plays, musicals, stand-up, sketch comedy, dance, cabaret, opera, poetry, mentalism, improvisation and Q&As. Peckham Fringe was set-up to offer Artists and Companies the chance to try out something different in a dynamic and supportive setting with less financial risks than other fringes.

What should my production be?

Your production can be any of the art forms mentioned above or perhaps it sits outside of that, either way we want to hear from you. To perform at Peckham Fringe, you will need to supply your own creative team. There are a few things to consider which we have listed below.

How many performances can I do?

All submissions are to be made be made by completing our online submission form (see below). Shortlisted shows for Peckham Fringe which will then be agreed with by our Artistic Team.

How to submit my show?

Consider the following questions before completing your application:

1. Having read the technical specification, does your production fit either of our spaces?

2. What story are you telling?

3. Who is the story for? Who is your target audience?

4. How might you pay and/or support a cast and creative team?

Peckham Fringe Guarantee and Box Office Split

There is no fee to take part in Peckham Fringe instead we work with a guarantee to Theatre Peckham and then a box office split.

We have a scalable box office split module which means the more tickets that are sold the better the financial deal. Our guarantee of £200 per show for the Main Theatre and £100 for the Studio will enable Theatre Peckham to be open and supply a duty manager, the front of house team and one duty technician for your production. You do not have to pay this amount upfront, this amount will be deducted from box office sales.

Once the £200 or £100 has been reached we will then split the remaining box office revenue between yourself and Theatre Peckham in the below percentages. The table below show how the box office will be split and to who.
