Submission Guidelines

What We Accept

Ink is looking for books of all sorts!  However, we do not accept Fantasy, Romance, Sci-Fi, Religion based books or Poetry.  All other genres are open for submissions

Length

Novels, Non-Fiction and Short Story Collections must be over 60,000 words to be considered.  

Short Stories

We only accept individual short stories during Open Calls. Please click on the open call link to see if there is currently any open. 

What to Send

In the email form above please submit a Standard Query Letter.  All queries should include information about your story as well as your bio and where you heard about our company.  If you do not know how to write a standard query, please click the link above.

Please do not send us a manuscript. 

Children's Books

Children's book must be fully illustrated to be considered.  When submitting a children's story, you may include a sample of the art work as well as a summary of your story. 

Response

We typically respond to all queries within two weeks.  If you do not hear from us after a month, feel free to contact us to ensure we received your query.
