We are always on the look-out for new talent. We focus on fiction, both
adult and YA, literary and commercial, and are happy to consider narrative
non-fiction. We are looking for strong voices and stories with narrative drive.
We do not handle children's books, genre science-fiction/fantasy, poetry or
scripts.
How to Submit
We would like to see:
1. a short covering letter
2. a one or two page synopsis 3. the first three chapters of your completed manuscript
We prefer to receive submissions by email, addressed to
info@christinegreen.co.uk;
we do not accept submissions by fax or CD. We cannot return your paper
submissions unless you provide a stamped SAE.
We prefer exclusive submissions, and if you are submitting your work to
every agent in the handbook then we ask that you pass us by. If you are
targeting a few select agencies and are made an offer before we have
responded, please do us the kindness of letting us know as soon as possible.
We receive between fifty and a hundred submissions every week; we do our
best to respond quickly, but please be patient. You should hear from us
within a few weeks. We cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged
material.
