We are now open for entries to the 2020 Fresher Writing Prize and inviting you to send in poems and short stories. This year, there is no specific theme so feel free to write about any topic you wish!
As ever, our prizes are designed to really help boost your career as a writer, and so, as well as cash prizes, you will receive personal advice and feedback on your work from an industry professional, and have the chance to record and receive a reading of your work – ideal for your own website etc.
The difficult decision as to who should win each category will be made by our judges, all influential figures from the publishing world, including publishers, agents and award-winning authors.
To keep the process simple, you will be able to enter online for just £7 per entry. The closing date is January 27th 2020. Please make sure you have read our terms and conditions.
