Payment and Rights

Live Novel Publishing LLC is an application publisher that exclusively publishes the proprietary Live Novel.

Manuscript submissions are for either an individual application or for publication in the Live Novel Digest.

There are no fees to submit or publish as an independent Live Novel or in the Live Novel Digest.

Manuscripts can be in any format, but should be complete, having already undergone extensive editing,  written in a manner that would make for an engaging Live Novel.

For an independent Live Novel, stories should be 25,000 words minimum.

For the Live Novel Digest, stories should be 2,000 – 6,000 words.

Authors retain full rights to any story published in the Live Novel Digest. Live Novel Publishing LLC does not retain the rights to publish or distribute your story outside of the Live Novel Digest without written permission from the author.

The Live Novel of your story remains the property of Live Novel Publishing LLC and may not be altered, sold or distributed outside of Live Novel Digest without prior written permission.

For publication as an independent Live Novel, if your manuscript is accepted, we will offer you a contract with a royalty payout structure.

We pay $100 for stories accepted for publication in the Live Novel Digest.

We will consider all stories, published or unpublished, from any established author for publication as an independent Live Novel or in the Live Novel Digest.

Style and Format

Your submission can be written in any manner you see fit. Stories previously unpublished do not need to be modified to be submitted for publication consideration.

All stories will be considered for except for fan-fiction.

Submission

Please navigate to the manuscript submission page.

One story per submission.

Your pitch should be concise and should sell your story.

Please do not reference any Live Novel capabilities. We want to evaluate your story on its own merit.

Response

You should receive an automated confirmation email within 24 hours confirming we have received your submission. Our review process takes up to three weeks. If you have not heard back from us after a month, please feel free to contact us at publishing (at) livenovel.com.
