Writers Online Crime Poetry Competition
We commemorate the centenary of The Mysterious Affair at Styles with a competition for crime-themed poems. Your entry can extend beyond the realms of this single book, to embrace Agatha Christie’s life and writing, any of her crime stories and their detectives, and other work such as the Mary Westmacott novels. Her settings and murder weapons, reader responses, the famous denouements, the missing period of her life, and your personal history with the stories are all grist to the mill.
Your poem length should be up to forty lines, and the closing date for entries is 11 November.
The winner will receive £100, with £50 for the runner-up. Both poems will be published in Writing Magazine
